Why does Euphia ask for my birth details?
Euphia doesn't do generic horoscopes; it computes your actual birth chart. That takes three things: your birth date, time, and place. The chart is calculated in the birth place's own timezone, which is why you pick the place from the list instead of typing it freely.
I don't know my birth time. What happens?
The app won't block you; the chart is built with a 12:00 noon placeholder. But we stay honest about it: time-sensitive elements (rising sign, midheaven, house placements) are hidden or marked approximate. If you learn the exact time later, update it under Profile → Edit Profile and the chart is recalculated.
How do AI readings work? Where does my data go?
For personal readings, your chart data is sent securely to our AI partners (Anthropic and Groq) — only if you've given consent. Notes you write yourself are shared only with a separate, per-use permission; we ask every time. If you decline, Euphia keeps working from its built-in interpretation library. Your data is never sold, never used for ads, and never used to train AI. Details: Privacy Policy.
Can I turn AI on or off later?
Yes — anytime, under Profile → Settings.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Billing runs through your App Store or Google Play account, not through Euphia:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Euphia Pro
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. On a new phone, use Profile → “Restore purchases” to bring your subscription back.
I want fewer notifications, or none.
Profile → Notifications lets you pick the rhythm — Daily, Flow, or Key Moments Only — and switch each notification type individually. Nights (22:00–09:00) are always quiet.
Can I export or delete my data?
Both live under Profile → Settings: export your data, or permanently delete it together with your account. Deletion cannot be undone.
How reliable are the calculations?
Planetary positions come from our astronomy engine built on international observatory data, computed to the minute. The interpretation layer is equally honest: we never pretend to know what we don't (like your rising sign on a chart without a birth time).
